Can a computer replace human decisions in processes associated with the Oil & Gas Industry? Until now, Artificial Intelligence is totally replacing the decisions made by the human mind in relation to the development of a production system or the solution of a problem to improve a process that have not been developed.
Therefore, we can say that a artificial intelligence can partially make decisions to solve problems in the environment in which they operate. If we talk about the O&G Industry, there are many processes associated with the Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream phases that need to be monitored and controlled by computers, however, these decisions made by computers are influenced by the final review of the human being for their final approval.
